Abstract

PT. Sadar Jaya Manunggal is a corporation that moved on construction materials distribution sector. One of the product is ceramics with size around 20x20, 20x25, 25x25, 25x40, 30x30, 40x40 and 50x50 that distributed from Solo to the store home in Pati, Central Java. PT. Sadar Jaya Manunggal during this season didn’t have yet planning necessary distribution method, so when on less stock the corporation should have extra delivering with consequence on increasing of transportation budget. The purposes of this research to devise schedules of necessary distribution product optimally using Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method. Lot sizing method selected for ceramics size 20x20, 20x25, 25x25, 25x40, 30x30, 50x50 using LUC (Least Unit Cost) method and size 40x40 using LUC (Least Unit Cost) dan LFL (Lot for Lot) method. Result of the research is distributing product as much as 588 times shipping is not suit with the fund as Rp 415.275.000,- while using DRP method, distributing product did as much as 472 times shipping appropriate with the schedule as budget Rp 332.790.000,- have decreasing distribution fund as Rp 82.845.000,- or around 19, 86%.
