Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine effect of job satisfaction on nurses performance that mediated by organizational commitment in hospital. Management of human resources is still the main focus in an institution. Data Collection Techniques used in this study isusing a questionnare. The statistical test used multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction significantly influence organizational commitment , this is evidenced by the acquisition of t values of 2.789 and 0.006 significant values ( < 0.05 ) . Job satisfaction variable significantly influence the performance of nurses, this is evidenced by the acquisition of t values of 5,270 and the sigfikan value of 0.000 ( < 0.05 ). Variable organizational commitment significantly influence the performance of nurses , this is evidenced by the acquisition of t values of 3.946 and 0.000 significance value ( < 0.05 ). Variable job satisfaction and organizational commitment mediates a significant effect on the performance of nurses , this is evidenced by the acquisition of t values of 5.357 and a significance value of 0.000 ( < 0.05 ).
