Abstract

Job satisfaction is a psychological condition of pleasant or unpleasant feelings of someone towards his work. Someone in a high level of job satisfaction has a positive attitude towards his work and vice versa, if someone is not satisfied with his work then he will show a negative attitude. The aim of this research is to know the influence of work environment, compensation and leadership toward job satisfaction of non-medical employees in General Hospital of Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. The number of sample in this research is 200 non-medical employees, based on the characteristics of the respondents' gender and age of the employee. The sample in this research is using two stages clauster sampling technique and the method which is used is multiple linear regression. The results show that the variable of the working environment has no effect on job satisfaction that can be viewed with a significant value of 0.789. The variable of the compensation has no effect on job satisfaction that can be viewed with a significant value of 0.000 while the variable of the leadership has no effect on job satisfaction that can be viewed from the significant value of 0.775.
