Abstract
Change the mindset of people have contributed to the improvement and development of quality service that improve people’s satisfaction. Here accreditation required as an effective way to evaluate the quality and management of a hospital. The hospital pharmacy installation is a unit where the implementation of all activities aimed pharmacy job for hospital uses. The objectives of this study are to determined the level of conformity seven standards of pharmaceutical services to the accreditation standards and the development strategy of pharmacy with matrix method. This study used the health department (depkes) questionnaire and interviews of 50 respondents. The subjects of this study were all employees at pharmacy installation of Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta. Conducted a study of seven standards were then compared between results of interviews with the results of questionnaire, and then analyzed with the development strategy by using a matrix method. The result showed that there is a difference between the result of the assessment of accreditation standards of management and uses of drugs in IFRS (83,80%) with maximum standard KARS (100%). With these result indicate that pharmacy installation of Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta needs to improve performance in accordance with accreditation standards. Efforts of strategies and development plans should be done by identifying the officers with responsibily for the pharmaceutical services, improving the system, monitoring method, the destruction of expired drugs should accordance with government procedures, ordering the drugs should include all elements, examine the accuracy of the drugs before it is given to the patient, drug administration should be done thorough verification, medication error reporting information needs to be determined time, patient monitoring is conducted by a trained health worker and performed routinely.
