Abstract

Diarrhea is a problem in Indonesian society. Diarrhea cases that were hospitalized in Puskesmas Sibela Surakarta during 2017 were 81 cases, namely 31 inpatients, 29 outpatients, and 21 patients referred. High incidence of diarrhea has made the proper treatment of diarrhea is needed. This study aims to describe the treatment of diarrhea for diarrhea patients at Puskesmas Sibela Surakarta in 2017. Data are taken from diarrhea patient’s medical record. The data used are gender, age, and treatment. The data being used as a sample are 31 patients. This study uses univariate analysis method, this analysis is used to explain or describe the value or number. The results of the study of 31 diarrhea inpatient patients at Puskesmas Sibela Surakarta in 2017, diarrhea patient mostly are women based on sex (51,6%), diarrhea patient mostly are 0-5 years old by age (29%), the medicine used mostly for the diarrhea are infusion of ringer lactate, ondansetron injection, attapulgit, and antacid tablet / syrup (26%).
