Abstract
ISPA non pneumonia is an acute respiratory infection disease without other symptoms such as breathing difficulties and increased breathing frequency, which is generally caused by a virus so that the treatment does not require antibiotics. This study aims to determine the percentage of prescribing antibiotics, the average number of prescription items per prescription, the percentage of prescribing of generic drugs, and the percentage of prescribing of DOEN drugs in non-pneumonia ISPA disease in Sibela Surakarta Community Health Center 2017. This study is descriptive observational, using data on Form Reporting Indicator Prescription of non-pneumonia ISPA at Puskesmas Sibela Surakarta in 2017, then data in the analysis based on the target of Ministry of Health RI on the use of rational drugs. The results showed that the percentage of prescribing antibiotics in Puskesmas Sibela is 2% means lower than target Kemenkes that is under 20%. The median number of each prescription drug in the Sibela Community Health Center is 2,55 means lower than the target of Kemenkes that is below 2,6. The percentage of prescribing generic drugs in Sibela Health Center is 68,98% means lower than target of Kemenkes that is 100%. The percentage of drug prescribing of DOEN in Puskesmas Sibela was 41,23% which is lower than target of Kemenkes that is 100%.
