The purpose of this study to determine the hepatoprotective effect of kombucha tea with a decrease in the levels of SGPT and SGOT. The method in this study is a with using paracetamol. Animals used in this experiment were male white mice that marred his liver then given then given the best preparation kombucha tea with volume variation, such as the using volume variation, such as the using volume of 1,82 ml/200 g BB rats, 2,73 ml/200 g BB rats and 3,64 ml/200 g BB rats compared with the positive control of curcuma and a negative control of sweet tea. The results showed that kombucha tea can provide the effects of hepatoprotective at a using volume of 3,64 ml/200 g BB rats were administered orally compared with using volume of 1,82 ml/200 g BB rats and 2,73 ml/200 g BB rats, with the positive control of curcuma can provide the effects of hepatoprotective to liver rats. Keywords : kombucha tea, SGPT and SGOT, paracetamol.
