Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of profitability, leverage, dividend policy and the growth of the manufacturing companies in the Stock Exchange. The samples in this study conducted using purposive sampling technique. The company sampled an enterprise that meets the following criteria companies that pay dividends in the years 2010-2011 and has a complete information required. Regression analysis showed that profitability is partially variable and significant effect on the dividend policy on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Regression analysis showed that the variable leverage partially and significantly affect the dividend policy on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Regression analysis showed that the variable growth partially and significantly affect the dividend policy on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. From the test results it can be concluded that the F unknown variable profitability, leverage and growth significantly affect dividend policy simultaneously. Seen the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) it was 0.687. These results indicate that the independent variables together explain 68.7 percent of the variation (changes in the rise and fall) on a variable dividend policy. The remaining 31.3 percent was influenced by other variables that are not accommodated in the model. Keywords: Reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangibles and brand image
