Abstract

Pain is a common cause that drives a person to seek treatment. The pain arises due to the body receiving stimulation in the form of mechanical and chemical stimuli. Pain that persists or is not dealt with operational will cause prolonged stress, which will lower the body's resistance. Currently pain relievers/ analgesics are the most commonly used drug around the world, millions of people interrupted their activities because of pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the analgesic drug that is often used in hospitals Dr. Moewardi Surakarta in 2013 and a comparison of the amount of the drug use of each quarter. This study uses secondary data collection methods to observe the use of analgesics analgesic drug usage reports every month in the Hospital Pharmacy Dr. Moewardi in 2013. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistic. The results of the data analysis showed that analgesic drug commonly used in hospitals Dr. Moewardi namely: Paracetamol 500 mg. The first quarter 1 is at most Ketoprofen 50 mg, quarter 2 is Ibuprofen 200 mg, quarter 3 is Paracetamol 500 mg. Keywords: Drugs Analgesic, Pain, non-narcotic .
