Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where a person experiences an increase in blood pressure above normal. But in general blood pressure higher than 140 mmHg systolic or 90 mmHg diastolic. Without treatment, hypertension contributed to the deaths of thousands of people because of the longer dangerous diseases, such as diabetes mellitus. Treatment of hypertension in patients with diabetes mellitus inpatient hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta in 2011 and 2012, seen from the type of antihypertensive used and the quantity of its use based on DDD and compliance with hospital formularies and guidelines JNC7. This study shows in 2011 the number of patients 55 402 the number of inpatient days and the average LOS 7 days, in 2012 the number of patients 69 508 the number of inpatient days and the average LOS 8 days. type of antihypertensive used class is ACEI, ARB, CCB, BB, Diuretics are then obtained the greatest DDD/100HR antihypertensive amlodipine then use terbesear sorted from the smallest to the DU90% segment. Of the overall use of antihypertensive adjusted with formularies and guidelines JNC7 Results of this study are based on quantitative analysis method of ATC / DDD the most in 2011 was amlodipine (48 DDD/100 HR; 41.93%) and in 2012 the amlodipine (HR DDD/100 55.12; 46.73%). Antihypertensive DU90% segment into the CCB in 2011: 41.93% amlodipine, nifedipine 7.17%, ARB: irbesartan 24.1%, ACEI: 5.40% Captopril, Ramipril 6.07%, Diuretics: Furosemide 5 , 33%. and in 2012 CCB: 46.73% amlodipine, nifedipine 3.17%, 5.89% Diltiazem, ARB: irbesartan 27.04%, 3.17% Telmisartan, Diuretics: Furosemide 5.23%. Suitability antihypertensive item in accordance with the hospital formulary and 100% in compliance with the guidline JNC7 in 2011 was 91% and in 2012 was 83,33%.
