Abstract

Electroplating waste is a liquid waste generated by the electroplating industry in the form of wastewater generated from washing, cleaning and plating processes. decreased levels required for the metal content is too high will damage the ecosystem environment. This study aims to effect of adding the powder mixture moringa seeds and tamarind seeds to the decline, Knowing the optimum concentration and effluent water quality in accordance or not with the waste water quality standard metal plating. The level of Cr, Ni and Cu with various concentration mixture moringa seeds and tamarind seeds (K: A = 0: 1, 1: 0, 1: 1, 1: 2, 2: 1) with parameters of temperature, pH and concentration metals in accordance with quality standard metallic coating. Analysis decline metallic elements using atomic absorption Spekrofotometri. The results of the study metal content of chromium, nickel and copper after treatment with biokoagulan at various concentrations of K: A=0: 1, 1: 0, 1: 1, 1: 2, 2: 1 respectively showed levels of chromium 45, 03 ppm, 50.76 ppm, 29.43 ppm, 13.90 ppm, 22.78 ppm. Nickel 1.510.79 ppm ppm 1.502.61, 1.270.36 ppm ppm 1.073.41, 1.792.15 ppm. Copper 3.797.61 ppm ppm 4.093.3, 3.526.6 ppm ppm 3.767.76, 4.317.01 ppm. There is a mix effect of Moringa seed powder and tamarind seeds to decreased levels of metal, the optimum concentration levels chromium, nickel is 1: 2, copper 1: 1.
