Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratio and firm size on consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The dependent variable used in this study is Stock Return. The independent variables used are liquidity, leverage, activity, profitability, market, and firm size. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2017. The sample in this study amounted to 136 companies for 4 consecutive years selected by purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program. The results showed that liquidity, leverage, activity and firm size did not affect stock returns. This study successfully proved that, profitability has a negative effect and the market has a significant positive effect on stock returns.
