Abstract
Mirisetin is a flavonoid compound that has natural antioxidant activity but has a low solubility and dissolution rate. This study aims to increase the solubility of myristetin with the form of Solid Lipid Nanoparticles (SLN). SLN were formulated, using imwitator 941, dynasan 118 and apifil as solid lipids with different concentrations and tween 80 by ultrasonication. Characterization SLN were evaluated using particle size measurement, polydispersity index, entrapment efficiency, zeta potential, and antioxidant activity by DPPH. The results showed that myiricetin can be made with the preparation of Solid Lipid Nanoparticles with apifil 2% (F7) as lipid and tween 80 as surfactant by the ultrasonication method, can produce the smallest particle size 105.5 ± 0.70 ; zeta potential -20.52 mV, the storage stability SLN was one week; efficiency entrapment 73.56% and has antioxidant activity with IC50 38.77 ppm Key words: Apifil, myricetin, SLN, ultrasonication
