Abstract
The existence of the marginal people like male-to-female (Waria) is marbling at this time. Male-to-female (Waria) is a male figure with female appearances. The indigestion of this behaviour is entered into a genital identity disorder, and is still a pro and cons in the society. Male-to-female (Waria) is a group that is often excluded, so they need support. This research aimed to determine the role of social support and happiness in male-to-female (Waria) in the community of Himpunan Waria Solo (HIWASO). The subject in this research were male-to-female (Waria) who joined the association set of 103 people. This research used two scale social support scales and the scale of happiness. The hypothesis proposed in this research was the role of social support towards the happiness of male-to-female (Waria) in the community of Himpunan Waria Solo (HIWASO). This research used total sampling method. The method use for analysis is a simple linear regression analyst with SPSS 21.0 for Windows release. The results of data analysis showed a regression coefficient of 0.646 with a value of p = 0,000 (p < 0.005). It indicated that the hypothesis proposed in this research was accepted, that there was a significant role between social support with happiness in male-to-female (Waria).
