Abstract

Moringa oil (Moringa oil) is a natural vegetable oil devired from extraction using mechanical presses. Moringa seed oil contains essential fatty acids and antioxidants used as a moisturizer that can reduce dry skin, reduce wrinkles, and protect the skin from free radicals. The purpose of this research was to make micellar based water moringa seed oil preparations with various concentrations of PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate as surfactant. Micellar based water moringa seed oil is made by the method of mixing water phase and oil phase. The variations of PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate concentration used were formula 1 (1.75%), formula 2 (2.25%) and formula 3 (2.75%). Physical quality tests carried out include organoleptic test, pH, viscosity and stability The results showed that variations in the concentration of PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate influenced the stability of micellar based water Moringa seed oil. The best formula is obtained with the concentration of PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate 2.75%. Keywords: Micellar based water, Moringa seed oil, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate
