Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is one of the main causes of death. Hypertension can cause various complications for several other diseases, even causes of heart disease, stroke, and kidney disorders. Hypertension ranks second in the 10 most cases of disease in Boyolali Regency. The aim of the study was to determine the profile of the use of antihypertensive drugs in Pandan Arang Boyolali Hospital in 2018 and the suitability of the Hospital Formulary. This research was conducted in Pandan Arang Hospital Boyolali. This method uses this study using descriptive non-experimental methods and retrospective data collection. The study was conducted by processing secondary data on the use of antihypertensive drugs in hypertensive patients at the outpatient installation of Pandan Arang Hospital Boyolali in 2018. The results of this study indicate the profile of the use of antihypertensive drugs in outpatient installations in Boyolali Pandan Arang Hospital in 2018 using a single antihypertensive therapy, amlodipine, captopril, furosemide, candesartan. The most suitable antihypertensive drug used in the inpatient installation of Pandan Arang Hospital Boyolali is Amlodipinantihypertensive use in accordance with the Hospital Formulary Keywords : Hypertensional , Drung hypertensional, Inpatients
