Abstract
The success of immunization depends on the quality of the vaccine given. The quality of vaccines storage with a cold chain systems which is not effective can reduce the efficacy of vaccine quality. This study aimed to determine the description of vaccine storage and the suitability of immunization vaccines in the Karanganyar main Health center based on the Ministry of Health standard and WHO. The method used was observation and interview of respondents. Observation checklist that refers to the vaccine cold chain guidelines based on the Ministry of Health in the six main Karanganyar health centers. The variables studied were the types of vaccines, management officers, vaccine storage and recording cold vaccine chains. The results of research in the six main health centers in Karanganyar showed that the immunization vaccine storage process carried out by cold chain vaccine officers, which refers to the guidelines for cold chain management, is mostly in effective category. The process of storing vaccines in the six main health centers in Karanganyar was in line with the Ministry of Health and WHO.
