Abstract
Niacinamide is the vitamins for skin care which acts as an anti aging. Gel peel-off mask is mask that has advantage because it can be easly removed like an elastic membran. The purpose of this study are to determine niacinamide can be formulated as gel peel off mask with the good physical quality, to determine affect PVA in the gel peel off mask of niacinamide and to determine concentration of PVA which can have the best physical quality. The gel peel-off mask of niacinamide was made with variations in the concentration of PVA were formula 1(7%), formula 2 (10%), formula 3 (14%). The results of the gel peel-off mask of niacinamide has evaluation of physical quality including organoleptic, homogenity, dry time, spreadibility, viscosity, pH, irritation and stability test. The result of evaluation were carried out by analyzing using SPSS 21 with one way anova method. Based on the result that niacinamide has been formulated in to gel peel off mask with the good physical quality. The increase of PVA concentration affect the gel peel off mask including dry time, viscosity and spreadability. The best formula of gel peel-off mask of niacinamide is formula 2 (10%).
