Abstract

Piper betle leaf (Piper crocatum) is a potential plant as analgesic active. The aim of the present research was to investigate the activity non perifer analgesic with tail flick metod and activity perifer analgesic with Randall Selitto metod on rat models of fractination ethanolic extract of piper betle, and active compound of percentage increase in ain inhibition. Fractinations of ethanolic extract piper betle leaf with n-heksana, etil acetat, and water. The principle of tail flick method is giving infrared ray 700C to the tail and recording the respons time of the rat. Randall Selitto method is the principle of inflammatory-induced pain on rat feet give a load, recording recording the resistance of rat to increased loads. Dosage extrak ethanolik of 100mg/200gbw, n-heksan fraction of 15,727mg/200gbw, etil acetat fraction of 11,666mg/200gbw, water fraction of 72,606mg/200gbw, the negative control CMC 1% and control positive tramadol 0,9mg/200gbw, mefenamic acid 9mg/200 gbw. The result showed of extrack ethanol and n-heksana fraction has optimal non perifer analgesic activity with antinociceptive percentage 68,17% and 64,06% comparable to tramadol and extrack ethanol, n-heksana fractrion, etil acetat fraction has optimal analgesic perifer activity with antinociceptive percentage are 64,79%, 53%, 52,53% comparable to mefenamic acid. Active compound in nheksana of flavonoid, steroid and essencial oil. Key word : Piper betle, fraction, analgesic, tail flick, Randall Selitto
