Abstract
The observance of Human Immunodeviciency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) patients to take antiretroviral drug is pivotal. The result of preliminary survey in Mawar Polyclinic Tidar Regional Public Hospital shows that there are still less docile patients in the course of ARV therapy. The purpose of this research is to know the impact of information and motivation, simultaneous influence of information and motivation, and to find out the percentage number of the effect of information and motivation on antiretroviral drug observance of HIV/AIDS patients in Mawar Polyclinic Tidar Regional Public Hospital. This research is non experimental associate analytical research with cross sectional approach. The sample of this research are HIV/AIDS patients in Mawar Polyclinic Tidar Regional Public Hospital who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument used in this research is questionnaire. Data analytical technique include instrument test, basic assumption test, and classical regression assumption test. The result of the research shows that information and motivation take effect on antiretroviral drug observance of HIV/AIDS patients in Mawar Polyclinic Tidar Regional Public Hospital, simultaneous information and motivation are proved significantly on antiretroviral drug observance of HIV/AIDS patients in Mawar Polyclinic Tidar Regional Public Hospital, and the percentage number that can be explained by information and motivation factors on antiretroviral drug observance of HIV/AIDS patients in Mawar Polyclinic Tidar Regional Public Hospital is 41,40 %.
