Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) adalah penyakit berbahaya yang disebut sebagai silent killer dengan keluhan banyak minum, banyak makan, banyak buang air kecil, badan lemas serta penurunan berat badan yang tidak jelas penyebabnya, kadar gula darah pada waktu puasa ≥ 126 mg/dL dan kadar gula darah sewaktu ≥ 200 mg/dL. Penatalaksanaan terapi dengan menggunakan antidiabetik oral dan insulin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efikasi penggunaan obat antidiabetes pada pasien lanjut usia di Apotek Farmarin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi yaitu pasien lanjut usia yang terdiagnosa DM tipe 2 dan teregistrasi dalam data Rekam Medik Apotek Farmarin bulan November – Desember tahun 2019. Data yang digunakan sebagai sampel sebanyak 35 kasus DM tipe 2. Analisis penggunaan obat dari 35 kasus kemudian dipersentasekan berdasarkan kesesuaian terapi diabetes melitus tipe 2 berdasar pada Formularium YKKBI dan konsensus PERKENI. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan obat antidiabetes pada pasien lansia Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 di apotek Farmarin bulan November – Desember tahun 2019 yang paling banyak adalah obat kombinasi golongan biguanid dan golongan sulfonilurea sebesar 62,06 % dengan efikasi penurunan glukosa darah sebanyak 91,42 %.Kesesuaian obat antidiabetes yang digunakan sudah sesuai dengan PERKENI dan Formularium YKKBI. Kata kunci: Diabetes melitus tipe 2, analisis penggunaan obat, lanjut usia. Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a dangerous disease called a silent killer with many complaints, such as: drinking a lot, eating a lot, urinating a lot, losing body and losing weight without an explicit reason, blood sugar levels at fasting ≥ 126 mg/dL and levels of blood sugar when ≥ 200 mg/dL. The management of therapy using oral antidiabetic and insulin. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of using antidiabetic drugs in elderly patients at Farmarin Pharmacy. This study used a purposive sampling method with inclusion criteria, there were elderly patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and registered in the Farmarin Pharmacy Medical Data Record in November-December 2019. The data which used as a sample was 35 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Then, the analysis of drug that used from 35 cases were presented based on the appropriateness of type 2 diabetes mellitus based on the YKKBI Formulary and the PERKENI consensus. The results of this study indicated that patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Farmarin pharmacy in November December 2019 The antidiabetic drugs that most used are combination of biguanid and sulfonylureas at 62.06%.with the efficacy of reducing blood glucose as much as 91.42%. The suitability of the antidiabetic drugs used is in accordance with the PERKENI and the YKKBI Formulary. Keywords: Diabetes mellitus type 2, analysis of drug used, elderly.
