Pharmacology is the study of various plants or animals that can be used as medicine. Pharmacology is divided into two parts, namely clinical pharmacology and therapeutic pharmacology, where clinical pharmacology is the science of pharmacology which studies the clinical effect of patients on drug efficacy while therapeutic pharmacology is the study of the use of drugs for therapeutic purposes. Clinical treatment usually requires expensive costs what else there are complications. Traditional medicines are ingredients or ingredients derived from plants, minerals and animals that are used for treatment, OT is commonly used as an alternative medicine where teradisonal drugs are cheaper than synthetic drugs and OT has low side effects. One of the plants that can be used as a traditional medicine is roselle flower, which is based on the literature that roselle flowers have chemical properties that reduce blood sugar levels against diabetes mellitus. The results of the study based on literature studies stated that roselle flowers tested by maceration, infusion, with different concentrations and methods still had the pharmacological effect of roselle flowers as anti-diabetes.
