Abstract
Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest megabiodiversity in the world. This condition results in the many varieties of plants that exist in the territory of Indonesia. These plants are widely used by the community as traditional medicine. One of the groups of people who use plants as ingredients for traditional medicine is the Wadang Hamlet. However, this was not supported by good data collection, so a scientific method was needed to inventory the medicinal plants used by the people of Wadang Hamlet. The scientific approach used in this research is ethnopharmaceuticals. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative methods. Determination of informants in Wadang hamlet using the snowball sampling method. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data on medicinal herbs used by the people of Wadang Hamlet. Data on traditional medicinal ingredients that have been obtained are then analyzed for UV (Use Value) and ICF (Concencus Factor Informants). There were 27 informants who knew or used traditional medicinal ingredients with an inventory of 32 types of plants and 25 types of diseases. The majority of the ingredients are boiled and the parts of the plant that are widely used are leaves and tubers. The overall ICF and UV results were grouped back into 10 disease categories with a value interval of 0.5-1 and the results of UV values obtained 4 plants with an interval of 0.5-0.6. The plants and minerals used have activities as traditional medicine. Keywords: Ethnopharmaceutical, Wadang hamlet, ingredients, traditional medicine
