Abstract
Hypertension is an increasion of systolic blood pressure over ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ≥ 90 mmHg on two measurements with an interval of five minutes in a state of rest or calm. Based on research in 2013 said that hypertensive disease requires the attention of clininers because the case of hypertension has a high prevalence in Indonesia. Therefore, it’s necessary to know the description of antihypertensive drugs and suitability in the use of antihypertensive drugs prescribed. The review article aims to find an overview of antihypertensive drug use at primary health care in Java, the suitability of use the drug with comparison used in the journal, the suitability of use antihypertensive drugs with JNC VIII. The article review was a Systematic literature review by using predetermined stages. It was using ten literature studies that are used by identifying journal publications that are relevant to the topic and assessing the feasibility of the journal with the desired criteria. The results of the literature review conducted stated that hypertension was mostly found widely used single, double, and triple drugs antihypertensive combination is Amlodipine (CCBs) 37%, ACEI+CCB 32%, and diuretics+ACEI+CCB 72%, respectively. The drug of choice antihypertensives at primary health care in Java was following the guidelines in papers. The compatibility of JNC VIII showed 65% and incompatibilityshowed 35%.
