Abstract

This research purpose to test the effect of job rotation and role stress in effect the level of organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Organizational commitment is necessary for a company because if employees have a high sense of commitment will be able to assist the company in carrying out its operational activities. But, if the commitment is low it will be bad for the company. Organizational commitment can be obtained if employees feel satisfied in working. The level of organizational commitment of employees can be influenced by the stress or facilities that have given the company to employees, one of which the job rotation program. The data obtained through questionnaires are distributed to employees who work at the PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Surakarta both medical and non medical employees. In addition, the samples used are employees who already feel the job rotation program employees who numbered 100 employees. The sampling technique used in this research is cluster random sampling technique. Hypothesis testing using by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The results of this study indicate that the effect of job satisfaction has a positive on organizational commitment of employees. In addition, the effect job rotation has a positive on job satisfaction and the effect job rotation have positive also on organizational commitment. On the other hand, the effect role stress actually has a positive on job satisfaction and the effect role stress also positively on organizational commitment.
