Abstract
Handayani, E. P. 2023. Effect of Work Fatigue, and Complaints of Musculoskeletal, on Employee Performance in X Clinical Laboratory in the Greater Tangerang Area. Bachelor’s degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology, Health Sciences Faculty, Setia Budi University. The implementation of good and quality health services was influenced by the performance of employees, both medical and non- medical. Along with the employee's role, the tasks, responsibilities, and challenges owned by the position they hold will be more complex, which will affect employee performance. Factors affecting employee performance includes work fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints. It shows that there is no ergonomic system in the work environment. Various problems will arise when ergonomics was not applied correctly, which will have an impact on work fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints felt by employees. This study aims to determine the effect of work fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints and their impact on employee performance of the X Clinical Laboratory Area Tangerang Raya. This type of research used cross-sectional study design. The study sample used 69 respondents. Data were analysed using multiple linear regression. The independent variables are work fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints, and the dependent variable is employee performance. The results showed that work fatigue had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (p-value = 0,000), while musculoskeletal complaints did not affect the employee performance (p- value = 0,798) at the X Clinical Laboratory in the Greater Tangerang Area. Work fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints simultaneously affect the performance of the employee at Clinical Laboratory X in the Greater Tangerang Area (p-value = 0,000). This study can be concluded that work fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints had effect on employee performance. Work fatigue had effect on employee performance, meanwhile musculoskeletal complaints did not effect on employee performance.
