Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability of the implementation of Minimum Service Standards (MSS) pharmacy hospitals that include: availability of formulary, waiting time prescription drug service and drug concoction, the absence of drug error occurrence, and patient satisfaction in the Installation of Pharmacy Outpatient Hospitals General Area of Surakarta. This research is non experimental descriptive. Samples taken are recipes that enter at Installation of Outpatient Pharmacy Surakarta General Hospital period March 2018, prescription drug as much as 239 recipe sheets, prescription recipe prescription medicine 91 sheets. The results showed that in Surakarta General Hospital available hospital formulary updated every one year, the average length of waiting time of drug is 24.36 minutes, the average duration of medication time is 31.38 minutes, none 100% drug errors, and patient satisfaction 91.43%. These results are in accordance with the standards set by the Directorate General of Health Efforts of the Republic of Indonesia. Keywords: Pharmacy Service, SPM, Recipe
