Abstract
Problem indication need medication, medication without any indication, dose, wrong medication is too low, too high a dosage is Drug Related Problems (DRPs) which can affect the patient's therapy. Drug Related Problems (DRPs) is defined as an occurrence that is not in the desire experienced by the patient that involves drug therapy and the healing of disturbing the patients want. Hypertension is a State where the systolic blood pressure 140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure 90 mmHg. This research is intended to find out the Genesis did Drug Related Problems (DRPs) category indication need medication, medication without any indication, dose, wrong medication is too low, too high a dose in the treatment of hypertension in Inpatient Hospital Installation Karanganyar Regency 2016. This research was descriptive research of non-experimental data collection with the medical record in restrospektif. Analysis of the incidence of Drug Related Problems (DRPs) was done by comparing the patterns of drug use in Hospital Karanganyar Regency with the JNC 7 are descriptive. The research results of the 60 cases patients of primary hypertension diagnosis, 12 patients who meet the inclusion of Genesis Drug Related Problems (DRPs) category indication of need as much medication 5 patients or drug without%, 41,67 indications as much as 16.67% or 2 patients, the drug is wrong as much as 1 patient or 8.33%, too low a dose of as much as 1 patient or 8.33%, dosage was too high by as much as 3 or 25% of the patients.
