Abstract
The definition of verbal bullying is negative behavior which causes someone in uncomforted condition, was seen directly to hurt someone and can be detected because it can be revealed by our hearing sense. The perception towards school’s climate is a process of organizing and interpreting condition or school’s climate which influences the teachers’ and students’ behavior in such schools, which become its characteristic and also influence its teaching and learning process. The research is using quantitative research method with two scales which are perception scale towards schools’ climate and scale of teenager verbal bullying behavior.The subject in the research is the students of Kristen 2 Vocational High School, 70 students to experiment and 60 students to research.Data analysis method is using correlation test with the support of SPSS for Windows release 17.0 program. The result of analysis data shows the correlation coefficient (r) as -0,570 with p = 0,000 (p < 0, 01), between variable of perception towards the school’s climate and variable of teenager verbal bullying behavior. Hypothesis is accepted with negative correlation and having very significant standard between perception towards the school’s climate with teenager verbal bullying behavior. The result of the research is discussed specifically in the research report. Keyword: Perception of School Climate, Bullying behavior in adolescents.
