Abstract

Ginger is a herb and medicine that has long been known to the people of Indonesia. The purpose of this study To know the time Soaking ginger tea bag is most effective as a tonic in male mice and to know the time of soaking dipping of red ginger tea is most effective as a tonic in male white mice. The animals test were divided into five groups: two groups of control (negative and positive) and three groups of treaments. The first group as a negative control is given aquades, Group two as a positive control is given caffeine, Group of three treatment of red ginger tea bag 6.24 / 20gBB mice with a hot water immersion treatment for 5 minutes, Group of four Treatment of red ginger tea 6.24 / 20gBB mice with a hot water immersion treatment for 10 minutes, Group of five treatment of red ginger tea bag 6.24 / 20gBB micewith a hot water immersion treatment for 15 minutes. The animal test is inserted into the aquarium and observed signs of fatigue. After the sign of fatigue the animal test was removed from the aquarium and recorded the time of fatigue. The results of red ginger tea bag with different variations of immersion have a tonic effect. The most effective tonic effect is red ginger tea with a soaking time of 15 minutes with a tired time difference of 13.77 minutes. Keywods : red ginger, tea bags, tonic
