Abstract
Hypertension is still the main problem in the health sector, not only in Indonesia but also in the world. Hypertension is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease and microvascular complications. Patients with hypertension have an increased risk of coronary heart disease 2 times greater. The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia continues to be increased. This study aims to determine the rational use of antihypertensive drugs at Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta in 2015. Certain stages have been analyzed are indicative evaluation accuracy, precision medicine, dose accuracy, precision mode of administration drug-giving, patient accuracy, and no-drug interactions. Researcher perform data retrieval through secondary data from the medical records of patients the period January to December 2015. The method presented in this paper is a cross-sectional study. Data retrieval techniques using total sampling, 38 samples were obtained in accordance with the study inclusion criteria. In presenting the result of data. Bisoprolol drug is most used for the treatment of hypertension with coronary heart at Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta in 2015. Accuracy assessment based on the patient’s antihypertensive drug delivery are as follows: 90,41 % for appropriate-drug-indications, 73,97 % for appropriate-drug, 91,78 % for appropriate-drug-doses, 100,00 % for appropriatedrug-giving, 90,41 % for appropriate-patients, and 45,21 % of drug interaction.
