Abstract
This research aims to know the correlation between the work stress and the employees work safety in transportation company at PT Akas Mila Sejahtera. The hypothesis which was affered there is a negative correlation between the work stress with work safety. This researchs uses quantitative methods and the sampling is uses purposive sampling technique. The subjects of this research are employee of PT Akas Mila Sejahtera, the total sample are 61 employees. The instrument used in this research is scale of work stress and scale of work safety. The method used to analysis the data is correlation Product Moment by Pearson with the help of SPSS 23.0 for windows release. The results of data shows that correlation coefficient is rᵪᵧ = 0,262, with p = 0,041 (p < 0,05). It shows that there is a significant positive correlation between of work stress with the subject of work safety. Because there is a positive correlation then the hypothesis proposed by researcher is denied. Keywords : Work Stress, Work Safety.
