Abstract

Papaya leaves mare medicinal plants that contain flavonoid compounds that have high anti oxidant activity and potential as hepatoprotektive. This research was conducted to determine the effect of n-Heksan frakction, etil asetat fraction and water fractionpapaya leaves on the rate ALT in wistar male rats paracetamol induced. This study uses 30 wistar male rats divided in 6 groups. Group 1 is given CMC 0,5%, group 2 is given CMC 0,5%, group 3 is given curcuma 3,6 mg / 200 g BW rat, group 4 is given n-Heksan fraction 20,844 mg / 200 g BW rat, group 5 is given etil asetat fraction 2,008 mg / 200 g BW rat, group 6 is given water fraction 37,013 mg / 200 g BW rat.all groups except group 1 paracetamol induced 500 mg / 200 g BW rat on day 4-8. Fraction dose obtained perkalian of % rendemen with fraction empiris dose. All groups on 0, 4th and 8th set ALT rate. Result obtained were analyzed by One Way ANOVA test. The result showed that etil asetat fraction papaya leaves wast the most effective a decrease ALT enzim dibanding n-Heksan fraction and water fraction. keywords : n-Heksan fraction, etilasetat fraction, water fraction, papaya leaves, ALT, paracetamol
