Abstract
Keduang River is one of the sub watersheds that drain water into Gajah Mungkur Wonogiri. Keduang watershed water quality declined due to the entry load source polluters such as land use and human activities. Keduang watershed land use is dominated by agricultural land. This study aimed to analyze the content of NNH3 and N-NO2 in agricultural wastewater and river water Keduang, analyzing the number of colonies of bacteria Nitrosomonas sp. in agricultural wastewater and river water Keduang and determine the relationship between bacteria Nitrosomonas sp. in transforming the ammonia into nitrite. Grab sampling technique using sampling methods. Point sampling done at four different points, the first outlet agricultural wastewater, both before a meeting between the water outlet farm with river water, the third meeting between the water outlet farm with river water, fourth after mixing with river water, in farmland Village Pengkol, District Slogohimo , Wonogiri. The study was conducted in April-June 2016 parameter analysis method ammonia and nitrite used is based on SNI by using UVVis spectrophotometer. For the analysis of bacteria Nitrosomonas sp. referring to the journal by using a colony counter. The results showed that the levels of NH3 at the sampling point after mixing with river water exceeded the quality standard according to Regulation No. 82 Year 2001 on the Management of Water Quality and Water Pollution Control in Class II, while others still are below the quality standard. NO2 levels of analysis results showed that all samples exceed the quality limit according to Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001 Class II. Results analysis The total number of bacterial colonies on the sampling point 1) outlet agriculture amounted to 514 colonies, 2) prior to the meeting between the water outlet farm with river water amounting to 488 colonies, 3) meeting between the water outlet farm with river water amounting to 536 colonies, and 4) after mixes with river water of 620 colonies. The test results Statistics show a positive relationship between the bacteria Nitrosomonas sp. on levels of NH3 and NO2.
