Abstract
Family support and knowledge level factors are two fields important to study that can affect the level of compliance in helping the hypertensive patient undertake medication moderated by education level. The objectives of research were to analyze the factors analyzing the factors affecting compliance level of hypertensive patient in undertaking medication moderated by education level. This study employed survey method. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The sample used consisted of 140 respondents with hypertension who were undertaking medication. The data obtained was analyzed using SPSS program method. Considering the hypothesis testing, it could be found that hypothesis 1 was supported in which there was a direct effect of family support on compliance level. Hypothesis 2 was also supported in which there was an effect of knowledge on compliance level. Hypothesis 3 showed that education level moderated the effect of family support on compliance level, meaning that education level could confirm the effect of family support on individual compliance level in undertaking medication. Hypothesis 4 showed that education level moderated the effect of knowledge on compliance level, meaning that education level could confirmed the effect of knowledge on individual level of compliance with undertaking medication.
