Abstract
Patient trust is an important factor in determining the operational continuance of an institution, including a hospital. Patient trust is knowledge of a patient and all conclusions which a patient makes that a product has its object, attribute, and benefit. Hence, patient trust is a key for a hospital continuance. This study aims at examining the influence of employee’s performance on patient trust mediated by satisfaction of outpatients at clinical laboratory of Dr. Moewardi Regional Public Hospital. The population was outpatient at Dr. Moewardi Regional Public Hospital. The research was carried out using survey method with a total of 200 respondents as samples. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data were processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and analyzed using AMOS 21 statistical software. The results of data analysis conclude that employee’s performance plays significant roles on patient trust, employee’s performance influences patient satisfaction, patient satisfaction contributes significantly to patient trust and patient trust puts a significant effect on mediating the relationship between employee’s performance and patient trust.
