Abstract
Pulmonary tuberculosis (pulmonary TB) is a chronic infectious disease in humans caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Standard pulmonary TB treatment consists of four drugs (rifampicin, isoniazid, pyrazinamide, and ethambutol) for 6 months on a regular basis, these drugs have side effects hepatotoxic. The aim of research to determine differences in the enzyme transaminase (SGOT and SGPT) in patients with pulmonary TB during treatment 0 months, 2 months and 6 months. The study was observational analytic with cross sectional method. Secondary data, the number of 74 pulmonary TB patients during treatment 0 months, 2 months, and 6 months. Research from March to April 2016 in Regional Public Hospital Gunung Jati Cirebon. The data were processed using computer assistance with the Kolmogorov Smirnov test for normality and see the difference test Repeated ANOVA parametric test with a significance of p <0.05, 95% confidence interval. The results, the mean ± SD SGOT in treatment period of 0 months 25.64 ± 10.03 IU / L, 2-month treatment period 26.41 ± 10.42 IU / L, 6-month treatment period 27.86 ± 11.29 IU / L and obtained mean ALT levels during the treatment 0 months 22.11 ± 11.76 IU / L, 2-month treatment period 23.04 ± 12.17 IU / L, 6month treatment period 25.35 ± 13.49 IU / L. Repeated ANOVA test analysis results obtained value of p= (0.001<0,05). Conclusion there are significant differences in the enzyme transaminase in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in a treatment period of 0 months, 2 months, and 6 months.
