Abstract
Batik is a product of the state of Indonesia which makes Indonesia has a typical in the eyes of the world. Batik making through the four stages, one of the stages: penyoletan process or staining the fabric. Penyoletan station on SMEs Rumah Batik Bu Sri -Pak Sarni consists of two tables, namely: penyoletan tables and shelves places of color. Table position lower than waist level workers make making workers uncomfortable when working from exhaustion at the waist. In order to eliminate the position of the bending work necessary to design a comfortable penyoletan work station. The method used is anthropometry and analysis work postures with Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). With both methods is applied to obtain the design of penyoletan work stations appropriate posture and workers can work as normal posture. From the results, the design dimension table that corresponds to the worker's body posture. Table dimensions are designed by measuring the length: 220cm, width: 120cm and height: 96cm. High on the draft table adjusted to the average waist height so that the position of workers while working becomes straight and does not bend. Extra shelves places of color also performed on the side of the table. RULA analysis results stating that the design table more comfortable with the acquisition of the final score in the categories of action: 2, the level of risk: the minimum and action: secure.
