Abstract

Integral pharmacy system implies that hospital have only one pharmacy policy, so all prescriptions for patient should be served entirely by pharmacy department, however, the existence of complementary pharmacy within the hospital and drug availability can affect the loss and revenue of hospital pharmacy. The purpose of this study was to known implementation of integral pharmacy system in pharmacy department of Dr. M. Haulussy Hospital, Ambon and factors influence. Type of research was analytic descriptive, by quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were collected from questionnaires obtained from hospital management and staff as well as patient who pay for healthcare in pharmacy hospital as 361 peoples. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression method using SPSS 17.0. The results showed that implementation of integration pharmacy system in Dr. M. Haulussy Hospital, Ambon quite effective as proved by prescription revenue of 99.7%. There were several factors that affect the implementation of integral pharmacy system, i.e.: drug availability (0,001), drug price (0,000), pharmacy location (0,025), promotion (0,000), and drug service process (0,000).
