Abstract

The increasing of standard of living of society, hence increasing of public demand for health quality. So it demands health care providers such as hospitals to evaluate the quality of services better, not only services that are curing diseases but also includes preventive services to improve the quality of life and provide patient satisfaction as users of health services. The purpose of this study is to know the suitability of pharmaceutical service with the dimension of waiting time of finished drug service and medicine concoction and patient's satisfaction. This research is a kind of non experimental research or survey research with descriptive design. Data collection was done cross sectional to outpatients who redeem the prescription in pharmacy installation. Outpatient In Pharmacy Installation of Orthopedic Hospital Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta Year 2017. Sampling technique is non probability by means of purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate the suitability of wait service waiting time waiting time average 11 minutes ≤ 30 minutes and medicinal concoction 24 minutes ≤ 60 minutes in accordance with Minimal Service Standard Hospital of the Republic of Indonesia in 2008. Pharmaceutical services with patient satisfaction 100% has been in accordance with the pharmaceutical service standards of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2008.
