Abstract
Performance is a product achieved by a person based on the job requirements. The nurses of hospital are not only rated from the physic but also from the amount of work, the quality of work, punctuality, attendance, cooperation capability, and competences.This research aims to figure out the influence of of work discipline, compensation, motivation , and work environmenttoward the performance of nurse in Lv.IV 04.07.12 Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. Furthermore, this research also aims to figure out the dominant influences among work discipline, compensation, motivation , and work environmenttoward the performance of nurse in Lv.IV 04.07.12 Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. The samples used in this research are 75 nurses. The method of data collection used quessionaire, meanwhile the methods of data analysis used are doubled linear regression analysist, asumsi classic test, F test, and coefficient of determination analysis. The conclusion obtained from the analysis result covers: 1) discipline variable gives significant influence toward the performance of nurse in Hospital Lv. IV 04.07.02 Slamet Riyadi Surakarta, shown by the value thitung = 3,720 > ttabel = 1,990. 2) Compensation variable gives significant influence toward the performance of nursein Hospital Lv. iV 04.07.02 Slamet Riyadi Surakarta, shown by the value thitung = 2,653> ttabel = 1,990. 3) Motivation variable give significant influence toward the performance of nurse in Hospital Lv. IV 04.07.02 Slamet Riyadi Surakarta, shown by the value thitung = 3,707> ttabel = 1,990. 4) Work environment variable give significant influence toward the performance of nursein Hospital Lv. IV 04.07.02 Slamet Riyadi Surakarta, shown by the value thitung = 8,852> ttabel = 1,990. 5) The influence of work discipline, compensation, motivation , and work environmenttogether give significant influence toward the performance of nursein Hospital Lv. IV 04.07.02 Slamet Riyadi Surakarta, shown by the value Fhitung = 27,748>Ftabel = 2,50 6) The dominant variable toward nurses performance in Hospital Lv. IV 04.07.02 Slamet Riyadi Surakarta is working environment shown by work environment regression value (0,738) more than discipline regression coefficient (0,337), compensation regression coefficient (0,460) and motivation regression coefficient (0,562). 7) Coefficient of determination value (Adj R2) in the amount of 0,591 means work, compensation, motivation, and working environment contributes the influence 59,1% toward the performance of nurse.
