Abstract
Cardiac disease is the largest cause of mortality in Indonesia. The risk factors includes hypertension, diabetes mellitus, smoking, hypercholesterimia, xi while other supporting factors were obesity, stress, inadequate exercise. The objective of research was to find out cardiac drug frequently used in Surakarta RSUD Dr. Moewardi in 2013. Technique of collecting data used was total sampling, by means of collecting secondary data on cardiovasculer drug use in Surakarta RSUD Dr. Moewardi in 2013 and then specifying and selecting the cardiac drugs frequently used in Surakarta RSUD Dr. Moewardi. The data was analyzed statistically using one-way Anova at confidence interval of 95%. The result of research showed that five drugs were frequently used in Surakarta RSUD Dr. Moewardi in 2013: Isosorbid dinitrate (ISDN) 5 mg, captopril 25 mg, diltiazem 30 mg, furosemide 40 mg, captropril 12.5 mg.The results showed that was no significance difference. __________________________________________________________________ Keywords: cardiac drug, cardiac disease, RSUD Dr. Moewardi, total sampling.
