Abstract
Immune response is immune system, but if the immune response work excess, will cause adverse impact. Steroid content of takokak fruits are expected to have immunosupresant effect for treatment autoimmune diseases. Previous studied (Ndebia et al. 2007) has shown the fruit takokak has anti-inflammatory 2 activity. Antiinflammatory activity is closely related to the immunosuppressive (Darmono 1996). Purporse of the research to determine and prove effect of nhexane fraction ethanol extract fruit takokak and effective doses as immunosuppressant were characterized by decreased IgG titers. The research uses 30 test animals and the mice were divided into 5 groups, are negative control (CMC 0,5%), positive control (methylprednisolone), nHexane fraction ethanol extract fruit takokak 20 mg/kg BW, 40 mg/kg BW, and 80 mg/kg BW of mice. Each of mice induced with 1% SDMD much as 0,2 mL/ 20 g BW intraperitonial and observations made during 10 days. On day 11, mice blood was taken and then centrifuged the blood. A clear layer of serum to be used for measurement of IgG titers using indirect ELISA method. The result were analyzed with one way ANOVA. The results showed the fraction of n-Hexane ethanol extract takokak fruit can lower IgG titers and effective dose to decrease is dose 40 mg/kg BW mice. The percentage decrease IgG titers in groups dose of 40 mg/kg body weight to decrease of negative control IgG titers, not much different from the positive control treatment groups were given methylprednisolone. The percentage decrease in IgG titers in n-hexane fraction of the ethanol extract of the fruit takokak was 43.394%, while the positive group was 48.165%.
