Abstract

Drug information service is an activity to provide accurate and objective drug information in relation to patient care. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of drug information service in jamkesmas outpatient satisfaction at IFRSUD of Dr. Moewardi partially, simultaneously and to determine the effect of independent variables together. The method used for sampling was purposive sampling to 317 respondents using independent variables of type of drug information, pharmacists performance and attitude, drug information service time, drug information service quality given by pharmacists. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires directly to the respondents, then the data were analyzed with SPSS version 17.0. The results could be concluded that partially, pharmacists performance and attitude and drug information service quality given by pharmacists significantly affect jamkesmas outpatient satisfaction, while type of drug information and drug information service time did not significantly affect jamkesmas outpatient satisfaction at IFRSUD of Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Simultaneously all independent variables were significantly affect jamkemas outpatient satisfaction at IFRSUD of Dr. Moewardi and the patient satisfaction could be determined from the independent variables as 28.0%.
