Abstract
Pharmacological activities of various compound of sambiloto herbs, black cumin seeds and ginger rhizomes include antiinflammatory, antiasthma and histamine inhibitor, so it could be used to prevent and treat asthmatic allergic diseases. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of each plant on the decrease of eosinophils number in bronchus on allergic asthmatic mice model. Male Balb/C mice was divided into 8 groups and the combination of sambiloto herb, black cumin seeds and rhizome ginger with a 100 mg/20 g BW total dose. Mice were immunized i.p. on days 0 and 14 with 0.15 cc of ovalbumin adsorben of aluminum hydroxide. Ovalbumin aerosols challenges were administered on days 21, 23, 25 and 27. Mice were sacrificed 24 hours after the final ovalbumin challenge to made slide of bronchial with Haematoxyllin-Eosin staining. The results showed that the group combination of 25 mg extract sambiloto herb, 50 mg black cumin seeds, 25 mg ginger is the most effective dose in reducing the number of bronchial eosinophils Balb/C mice male.
