Abstract

One of the laboratory quality control programs is Internal Quality Assurance (IQA). IQA is a preventive and supervisory activity performed continuously by every laboratory to obtain accurate and precise examination results. SGPT and creatinine examinations are examinations frequently ordered by clinician. This study aimed to determine IQA on SGPT and creatinine examinations at Laboratory of Saint Gabriel Kewapante Hospital during 2018. This research applied descriptive method with cross sectional approach. Data analysis were IQA of SGPT and creatinine examinations in 2018 at Laboratory of Saint Gabriel Kewapante Hospital. Data of SGPT and creatinine examinations results were gained from daily QC data and analyzed using LeveyJennings chart then evaluated using Westgard Multirulers. The result of research data is imprecision of SGPT and creatinine control examinations in 2018 determined to be low, except in February and March. While inaccuracy in SGPT and creatinine control examinations is equally low. The number of errors based on Westgard rules are found many warning rules (12s) and rejections (22s, 41s, 10x).
