Abstract
The research examines the expertise and similarity in moderation the effect of getok tular communication in the treatment decision. Getok tular communication that is supported by the expertise and similarity encourage the treatment decisions. It will give a positive effect for the consumer to increase the decision of treatment that is strengthened by the expertise and similarity. The data were collected through questionnaires to consumers at Malinau Public Hospital with a purposive sampling technique. It involved 200 respondets. Hypothesis testing was done through multiple regression analysis. The result of this research estabilished that getok tular communication gives an effect in the treatment decision. It showed significant after expertise became in the variabel moderator in the treatment decision. It means the real expertise is moderated by the relation between getok tular communication in the treatment decision. Getok tular communication showed not significant after the similarity became moderate in deciding the treatment Keywords: Getok tular communication, expertise, similarity, and treatment decision.
