Abstract

Hypertension is defined as an increase arterial blood pressure persistent. Hypertension is often regarded as the silent killer for most the patient did not feel any complaints due to hypertension he suffered. The purpose of this research is to know the description and rationally of hypertension drug usage in hypertension patient in Inpatient Installation of RSUD Karanganyar in 2018 which included precise indication, correct drug, patient and exact dose in Inpatient Installation of RSUD Karanganyar in 2018 against JNC VII and Depkes (2006). The study desingn using descriptive non e-experimental, taking sample retrospectively by looking at medical record in Inpatient Installastion of RSUD Karanganyar in 2018. The results showed that the most widely used use of monotherapy hypertension drugs was CCB (amlodipine) and the combination of the two most used drugs were CCB and ARB (amlodipine and candesartan). The rasionality of hypertensive drug use in hypertensive patients at Inpatiens Installation of RSUD Karanganyar in 2018 based on JNC VII and Depkes 2006 is 100% convering right patient, 100% right indication, 81,3% right based drug, 95,6% right dose.
