Abstract

Gel mask peel-off of antioxidant is alternative to facial treatment to reduce the effects of free radicals. Strawberry extract is one of the sources of high antioxidant. This study aims to determine Strawberry extract can made to be gel mask peel-off, to determine affect variaous concentration of PVA in physical quality of gel mask peel-off and to determine concentration of PVA to be gel mask peel-off with the best physical quality. Gel mask peel-off strawberry extract created 3 formula with the variation of the concentration of PVA : 7%, 10%, and 14%. The result of the gel peel-off mask of strawberry extract has evaluation of physical quality including organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, coverage, dry time, pH, stability, irritation and the wearing comfort gel mask peel-off. Data were analyze using the program SPSS statistic by ANOVA one way and Post Hoc. Based on the result of the test strawberry extract can be formulated in to gel peel-off mask with quality good physical. The increase of the concentration of PVA affect the gel peel-off mask including viscosity, coverage, and dry time. The result sheow the gel mask peel-off with a concentration of PVA of 10% has the physical quality and the converience of use the most good.
