Abstract

Inflammatory disease of the airways characterized by episodic wheezing, coughing and tightness in the chest due to airways obstruction antiasthma drugs used include the class of β2 agonist, methilxantin, and corticosteroied. This study aims to determine the drugs used as antiasma and percentage of the most widely used asthma drugs. The study was conducted by using secondary data collection method of antiasthma drug usage by observing the usage medication antiasthma every month in medical record unit of RS. Kasih ibu Surakarta which started from January – December 2018. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling from the total sampling of medical records of patients with asthma. The results showed antiasthma drug used in outpatient installation RS. Kasih ibu Surakarta is Salbutamol methilprednisolon dexhametason and theophylline.
